Super Eagles striker Obafemi Martins scored his third MLS goal in his fourth appearance for Seattle Sounders in their 4-2 win over FC Dallas at the CenturyLink Stadium on Sunday, reports Completesportsnigeria.com
Martins who replaced Mario Martinez in the 62nd minute of the encounter, blasted home a rebound from Brad Evans in the 83rd minute to put the game beyond FC Dallas who had fought back twice in the thrilling encounter in front of a 38,979 capacity crowd, extending the club's unbeaten run to six matches.
With this win, Sounders are now sixth in the Western Conference, one point behind the Colardo Rapids who have two games in hand and are in fifth place.
After winning their two straight home games, Sounders will play LA Galaxy at Home Depot Stadium next Sunday. ---------- Complete Sports
