Oscar Pistorius will appear in court next Tuesday charged with murdering his model girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp.
The athlete is due before officials in South Africa for a hearing on June 4.
It's expected that the prosecutor in the case will ask for a postponement so it can further its investigations.
Pistorius, 26, has admitted shooting dead Reeva at his luxury home in Pretoria on Valentines Day but claims he mistook her for a burglar.
Last week Oscar's agent revealed that the double amputee will not race again this year.
His agent, Peet van Zyl, said the athlete wasn't mentally ready for a return to to the track.
"There was never any pressure from me or his coach (Ampie Louw) to return, it's his decision."
