Ike Uche Strikes Again In Spain

By Johnny Edward:Super Eagles striker Ikechukwu Uche scored his 14th goal of the season in the Spanish second division on Monday as his club Villarreal pipped relegation candidate Xerez 3-2 at the El Madrigal Stadium, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
The Nigeria international scored in the 89th minute to give his side a 3-1 lead, before Rodolfo Bodipo completed his brace in stoppage time of the encounter.
Villarreal are now second on the table with 71 points from 40 matches, with a superior goal difference of +4 ahead of third spot Almeria.
The former Granada striker expressed optimism of gaining promotion to the La Liga if they can win their remaining games against Xerez, Barcelona II and AlmerÃa.
