Floyd Mayweather takes LeBron over Jordan
The boxer says LeBron is the greatest of all time.
Since LeBron James won his second straight NBA title with the
Miami Heat, more and more personalities around the sports world have
begun weighing in on his historical standing. A big part of this is the
debate of whether James is a better player than Michael Jordan.
On ESPN Radio in Chicago, superstar boxer Floyd Mayweather added his name to the ranks of people who think King James tops His Airness.
Mayweather, who is a huge NBA fan and is often spotted courtside at games, may have his opinion colored by the fact that James recently won him a lot of money. Mayweather wouldn’t confirm or deny reports that he bet $5.9 million on the Heat to win the title, though.
“I’m not here to talk about gambling,” Mayweather said during the interview. “I like to gamble. I’m not here to talk about gambling. Let’s talk about basketball. Let’s talk about football. I’m a sports fanatic. I like to bet. Let’s just say I like to bet.”
