Former Warrior Gilbert Arenas, who hasn't played in the NBA since the 2011-'12 season, was arrested early Thursday morning for speeding, driving without a license, and possession of 100 pounds of illegal fireworks.
TMZ Sports reports that Arenas, who averaged 15.6 points in 129 games with Golden State from 2001-2003, was booked for misdemeanor possession and released without bail.
LAPD called in a bomb squad to handle what a TMZ cameraman counted as 20 boxes of fireworks after catching Arenas driving 80 mph in a Ford pickup truck around 2:30 am Thursday.
Arenas was sentenced to 30 days in a halfway house and suspended for 50 games in the 2009-'10 season for a locker room incident with then-Wizards teammate Javaris Crittenton in which Arenas brandished a gun.
