Another deadline day drama on the cards for Odemwingie?

Another deadline day drama on the cards for Odemwingie?

Peter Odemwingie became a laughing stock when he drove to QPR's ground on deadline day in January in a bid to force a move from West Brom. What are his chances of getting away now?
Peter Odemwingie may not feel like it, but he probably dodged a bullet by missing out on a move to QPR.
The Hoops prompt relegation would have left him Championship bound for next season, and it's unlikely he would have been able to prevent that.
The Nigerian earned himself instant notoriety when he was pictured outside Loftus Road when trying to force a move away from West Bromwich Albion.

By all accounts he remains desperate to move on this summer, but with the transfer window set to open next week it is becoming apparent clubs are not exactly beating West Brom's door down in an effort to seal his services.
Chairman Jeremy Peace told the Birmingham Mail: "We have a player who is under contract until the end of the season, unless something comes in to change our way of thinking he will be back in pre-season and we will deal with that.
"Unless we get an offer we're happy with we won't sell him."
That won't be music to the ears of Odemwingie, who has been linked with a move south to Crystal Palace and to Humberside with Hull City.
Peace intimated that West Brom have yet to receive any concrete offers for the player, and it could be quite a nerve-racking few months ahead for him.
Will it go down to the wire? West Brom really don't want him hanging around, but don't wish to give in and let him go for less than they feel is a fair deal.
We won't be surprised if this drags on until deadline day again. We just hope Odemwingie has learned his lesson and saves his petrol.
How do you see the Odemwingie situation being resolved?
