Manchester United earn record £60.8m TV revenue

Third-placed Chelsea received £54.9m,
less than both Arsenal and Tottenham as fewer of their games were
televised, while QPR earned the lowest in the Premier League with £39.7m
Manchester United received £60.8 million in television revenue from the Premier League for the 2012-13 season.Sir Alex Ferguson's side, who clinched their 20th league crown this term, earned the highest broadcast payment of any title-winning club in Premier League history.
Manchester City finished runners-up to United and earned £58.1m in television revenue, while third-placed Chelsea received £54.9m, less than Arsenal (£57.1m) and Tottenham (£55.8m) because fewer of their games were televised.
QPR received the lowest amount of all 20 Premier League sides as their earning totalled £39.7m.
As from next season, a new three-year broadcasting deal will see the Premier League winners receive a figure close to £100m, while the club who finishes bottom will earn more than United this term. --------------------------- goal.com
