Super Eagles to depart for Ethiopia on October 11

The national team will leave for Addis Ababa two days to its crucial 2014 World Cup qualifier against the Walya Antelopes
Nigeria will depart for their important 2014 Fifa World Cup play-off first leg match against Ethiopia on October 11, two days before the game, Goal has learnt.
The Ethiopian Football Federation announced yesterday that the match will hold on Sunday October 13 at the National Stadium in Addis Ababa.
The Super Eagles will be preceded by an advance party of the Nigeria Football Federation that will ensure everything is set for their sojourn in the city.
“The team will depart Nigeria on Friday, 11th October and there will be an advance party to leave several days before to sort out the team's accommodation and other logistics,” NFF assistant director of media Ademola Olajire told Goal.
The Super Eagles head into this crunch tie with the resurgent Walya Antelopes who only returned to the Africa Cup of Nations this year after an absence of 31 years.
The second leg of the winner-takes-all match-up will hold in Calabar on November 16 to determine which of the two sides will pick one of five African tickets to the World Cup in Brazil. ----------------------- goal.com
