Montpellier striker, John Chukwudi Utaka quit bachelorhood at the weekend as he took his heartthrob for wife in a modest conjugal ceremony in France.

Former Super Eagles captain, Kanu Nwankwo broke the news of his former Portsmouth and national teammate's wedding on Twitter when he headed for France with his wife Amarachi four days ago for the occasion.
 “Heading to john otaka wedding to be there for him. His my young Bro so am in France,” Nwankwo tweeted.

Details of Utaka's wedding are not known to the media, but Completesportsnigeria.com understands that the ex- Nigeria international wanted a quiet wedding with his longstanding girlfriend and virtually fixed it to the letter.

Kanu Nwankwo and his wife were among a selected few who witnessed the exchange of marital vows between Utaka and his wife in France. The couples were pictured together savouring the occasion along with other guests. ----------------------- Complete Sports
