German
youth international Zelalem has also lived in the US - which was where
he was spotted by Arsenal - and he has also has Ethiopian heritage.
His
former
coach Matt Pilkington said in an interview last year: “The balance, the
vision, the ideas – you don’t see that often at [Zelalem’s] age. We
will see Gedion in Arsenal’s first team three years from now. He’s got a
great future.”
