The Bulgaria legend has ridiculed the Welshman's
€100 million pricetag and has criticised his attitude after he skipped a
Tottenham training session
The 24-year-old failed to show up for Spurs training on Tuesday as he awaits the completion of his move to the Liga giants, prompting Stoichkov to question his attitude.
"Bale has shown a lack of respect toward his Tottenham team-mates by not showing up for training," the Bulgaria legend told Onda Cero.
Stoichkov then went on to question the world record €100 million transfer fee Madrid are set to pay for Bale, and added that players hailing from the Premier League have historically struggled in La Liga.
"If Bale is worth €100m, I would have been priceless," he continued.
"No Englishman [sic] who came to Spanish football has ever succeeded."
The likes of Jonathan Woodgate, Michael Owen and David Beckham have previously swapped the Premier League for La Liga, with the latter making over 150 official appearances for los Blancos during his four-year spell at the club. ---------------------- goal.com
