Chelsea Vs Bayern: Moses Out, Mikel in

Super Eagles winger Victor Moses has been left out of Chelsea’s squad for their Super Cup clash against Bayern Munich in Prague on Friday, raising further doubts over his future at Stamford Bridge.
The Nigeria international has been linked with a move to Liverpool and West Ham after failing to make an appearance for Chelsea in their opening three Premier League games.
The winger joined the Stamford Bridge club from Wigan last August for £9million and Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers wants Moses on a season-long loan at Liverpool and has been encouraged after the player was told he can leave the club.
Chelsea want a £2m loan fee for the 22-year-old, but Liverpool will try to secure his release on reduced terms. Moses earns £55,000 a week at Chelsea and Liverpool are reluctant to match that.
But they are still hopefuly of a deal as Moses prepares to leave Chelsea before the transfer deadline on Monday.
Rodgers hopes his long-standing relationship with Mourinho will help steer the deal in Liverpool’s direction this week.
Moses has been told that Chelsea are unlikely to agree to his sale, but they will let the winger leave for a season.
The chances of Moses winning back his place in the Chelsea team have been reduced by the £32m arrival of Willian from Anzhi Makhachkala.
Meanwhile, Demba Ba has been included in the squad despite interest from Newcastle in bringing the striker back to St James's Park.
John Mikel Obi and Juan Mata are also in the traveling party after Mourinho insisted the Spaniard would not be allowed to join either Arsenal or Tottenham, both of whom are interested. ---------------------- complete sports
