Bewarang: Keshi Should Avoid Saintfiet's Distraction

Former Super Eagles assistant coach, Bitrus Bewarang, has urged Coach Stephen Keshi to ignore all attempts made by Malawi coach Tom Saintfiet to distract the Nigerian national team ahead of the 2014 World Cup qualifier coming up on September 7 in Calabar.

Both coaches have been engaged in war of words ahead of the match that will decide which of the two countries moves to the final play-off of the World Cup qualifier.

So fierce was the battle that Saintfiet reported Keshi to FIFA for what he perceived to be racist
comments.

“I am happy that the Eagles versus Malawi match will take place eventually next week so that we can finally put Malawi in their rightful place. The Malawians have been so boastful that they needed to be taught some lessons in football.”

“What I am not happy about is that Stephen Keshi fell to the antics of the Belgian by replying him. He wants Keshi to lose focus by engaging him in war of words but he would not succeed.” -------------- complete sports
