Thiago alerts Manchester United by asking to leave Barcelona

Thiago has opened the door for a summer switch to Manchester United by telling Barcelona he wants to quit the club.
United are known to have made Spain pass-master Thiago a top target, after missing out on his Nou Camp team-mate Cesc Fabregas.
And amid growing talk that David Moyes is preparing a £15million bid, Thiago has reportedly told Barcelona he wants to find a new club this summer.
The decision comes because the 22-year-old is worried he will miss out on a place in the Spain team for the World Cup unless he gets regular playing time.

At Barca, he has found himself down the pecking order with Xavi, Andres Iniesta, Sergio Busquets and Fabregas all preferred options.
Thiago has been reassured he will be given chances but, leaving nothing to chance, he is reportedly pushing hard for a transfer away.
Bayern Munich have already confessed their interest in the player but United are in the driving seat, having trailed him all summer.
