The Maccabi Tel Aviv shot stopper has tipped the Super Eagles to win Wednesday’s World Cup qualifier against the Harambee Stars in Nairobi
Nigeria goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama has said that there is no hiding place for Kenya in Nairobi in Wednesday’s 2014 World Cup qualifying match because the Super Eagles need victory to stay on course for a showing in Brazil.
Enyeama was a second half substitute in Saturday’s 2-2 draw in an international friendly match against Mexico in Houston, Texas.
"We are fired up to win in Nairobi and [Saturday's] friendly match [was] a good preparation for us," Enyeama said.
The Super Eagles team returned to Frankfurt international Airport in Germany at exactly 8.55am local time (7.55am), Nigeria time, after a nine hour flight from Houston.
The team checked into the Hilton Frankfurt Airport Hotel, where it will stay before departing for Nairobi, Kenya on Monday at 11.00am.
The team did not rest and preferred to train on Sunday evening at 5pm. The players said that the match against Kenya is non-negotiable and that is why they are not resting and will go for training, despite the long journey.
A camp source said that Coach Stephen Keshi vowed that all the observed lapses in the game against Mexico will be corrected. --------------------------- goal.com
