CSKA Moscow striker Ahmed Musa was delighted with his performance in Wednesday’s World Cup qualifier against Kenya where he scored the winner in a 1-0 for the Super Eagles.
Musa told supersport that the victory was due to teamwork and unity as a group.

“This is a great performance from the boys and I’m delighted we worked as a unit to score and I didn’t do it by myself. It’s team effort.”

 “I wasn’t auditioning for a place in the starting eleven as much as I at times come off the bench. I knew I was tasked to score and that is what I did. I did my job.”

“The win is good for us because we have got our campaign back on track with the maximum points and now top the group.”

“I saw the keeper came off his line and I had to try my chance which was successful, this was my fifth goal in national team and I’m excited.”
