Queens Park Rangers sign former Milan defender Oguchi Onyewu
The experienced centre-back will hook up with the Rs on a free transfer after leaving Portuguese giants Sporting Lisbon

QPR have signed former AC Milan defender Oguchi Onyewu.
The American is a free agent after his contract with Sporting Lisbon was terminated, and he made just two appearances on loan at Champions League Malaga last season.
The 31-year-old made his name at Standard Liege in Belgium and spent a brief spell on loan at Newcastle United, but will join up with Harry Redknapp's Rs as they look to gain promotion back to the Premier League.
“I’m thrilled to get this period over with and finally secure my future," said Onyewu on signing a one-year deal in West London.
The centre-back, capped 68 times by the USA, has struggled with injuries over the last few seasons and has made just 27 appearances in three years.
Onyewu once broke one of Zlatan Ibrahimovic's ribs in a training-ground fight.
