Kanu: Eaglets Will Rule The World Again

Former Super Eagles skipper Kanu Nwankwo has tipped the Golden Eaglets to rule the world again when the 2013 U17 World Cup in the UAE kicks off in October.

Kanu who was a member of the Japan 1993 squad that lifted the FIFA U-17 title for a second time believes the Manu Garba led side will be unstoppable in UAE.

"Mexico, Iraq, Sweden and Nigeria. The Golden Eaglet will show the world that Nigeria will rule the world again. I can see them flying,  no stopping," Kanu  tweeted.

The Golden Eaglets have been pooled alongside defending champions Mexico, Iraq and Sweden.

The Nigerian  Under-17 team will play in Group F with their centre in Al Ain at the Championship taking place between October 17 and November 7.
