Cristiano Ronaldo has promised Real Madrid president Florentino Perez that he will stay at the Bernabeu.
Real Madrid superstar Ronaldo has been the subject of interest from former club Manchester United and Paris Saint Germain.
But Spanish media claim Ronaldo met with Perez during Real Madrid's US tour in Beverley Hills and promised that he will stay with the club.
Ex-United star Ronaldo insisted he is happy with new boss Carlo Ancelotti as he looks forward to potentially pairing up with Tottenham's Gareth Bale.
Ronaldo and his agent Jorge Mendes are now hoping to reopen contract negotiations later this month to thrash out a new deal to take him up to 2018.
It will see Ronaldo push for an estimated £13m-a-year and a larger slice of image rights which has been the sticking point so far.
But Ronaldo has given Real Madrid assurances which is certain to be a hammer blow to Manchester United and PSG who harboured hopes of signing the Portugese superstar.
