Super Eagles midfielder Nnamdi Oduamadi rues missed chance against Ethiopia

The Super Eagles midfielder had a great chance to open scores against Ethiopia last Sunday but missed the sitter
Super Eagles midfielder, Nnamdi Oduamadi has said that he wished he could have scored against Ethiopia on Sunday.
The ball had been laid on a plate by Emmanuel Emenike in the 21st minute but a rushed Oduamadi missed the target horribly.
“It came too quickly at me and I did not realize I had the opportunity to control first before shooting,” Oduamadi told Goal on the Eagles arrival in Abuja.
The on-loan Brescia player played 63 minutes of the encounter before Nosa Igiebor replaced him.
He also added that the weather conditions were not easy and he was drained before been taken off my Coach Stephen Keshi.
“It wasn’t easy but looking at the World Cup so close gave the players strength,” he added.
Oduamadi was starting his second straight competitive game for the Eagles as he also started against Malawi last month in Calabar. He however believes that his form will get better for the national team.
