Wayne Rooney has given his wife Coleen a “lovely surprise” – with fans suggesting it could be a move to London.
The unsettled Manchester United striker has been strongly linked to a move to the capital with clubs Chelsea and Arsenal chasing to sign him.
A few years ago, scouser Coleen, 27, would have snubbed the idea of leaving the North West but sources close to the mum-of-two reveal she’s now on board with the move.
She wrote on Twitter today: “Lovely surprise @WayneRooney.”
The post sparked a flood of replies to the WAG, with the majority asking if the ‘surprise’ was a house in Chelsea, alluding to a transfer to the London club.

A pal of Coleen told the Sunday Mirror: “She is very close to her family, but she realises the journey between London and Liverpool really isn’t an issue time-wise these days.
“Coleen has had a brief look at the possibility of moving into leafy areas of Surrey. She’s told Wayne she’s ready to make the big move south if she needs to.
“She’s also looked in West London, in plush areas like Kensington and Notting Hill.”
The Rooneys currently live in a £4million mansion in Prestbury, Cheshire. Luxury homes in areas such as Godalming, Surrey, can cost anything up to £8million.

But it is thought Wayne could earn around £50million over the next five years if he moves.

Last week Manchester United rejected a £22million bid from rivals Chelsea for striker Roo , but manager Jose Mourinho is expected to increase the offer to £30million.
Coleen was f orced to defend her husband recently after the pair were bombarded with vile threats from trolls on the (anti) social network.
The new Man United manager David Moyes has insisted the troubled striker isn’t for sale and will remain at the club – who pay him £250,000 per week - next season.
