Angry Liverpool fans threaten Suarez with death on Twitter after Arsenal move rumoursLondon: Controversial Liverpool striker Luis Suarez has reportedly been threatened by abusive death threats on Twitter by angry fans of the club following the increasing speculations about a purported move to Arsenal.

According to the Daily Star, police have been monitoring abusive tweets aimed at the Uruguayan, who is the subject of a 40 million-pound bid from the north London club, as Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers appeared to be losing the battle to keep Suarez.

However, the fans of the Anfield giants are not so forgiving, with one fan tweeting directly to Suarez`s Twitter account that he will find Suarez and kill him if by any chance Liverpool accepts a bid and he moves.

Another fan wrote that he will hunt Suarez down and kill him if he leaves.

According to a police source, people should be aware that they could be held accountable to the law for anything they write on social networking sites.

Although the report said that Rodgers had urged Suarez to snub the Arsenal move and repay the loyalty Liverpool had shown him after his biting and racism controversies, but the player has publicly stated he wants to leave and is said to be demanding talks with Arsenal in a bid to agree personal terms.
