The 68-year-old had previously indicated he had
been asked to stay on as president but new owner Erick Thohir has hinted
this may not be the case
The 68-year-old revealed last week that he had been asked if he wished to continue at the helm of the Giuseppe Meazza side despite selling his majority stake in the club to Indonesian businessman Thohir earlier this month.
Howver, Thohir insists his future is yet to be determined and will be a topic of dicussion at a meeting of shareholders later in November, where they will also look at the youth setup of the club.
"There will be a meeting in which we will discuss with Moratti's future the club," he told the Republika.
"During the meeting we will also discuss long-term plans for the company.
"For the young players, everything will have to be gradual. In the first team, players will be mature.
"This, however, does not mean that I'm not even looking at Under-19 players.
"We must do everything slowly, to ensure they are prepared for the first team.
"Selection must start already from the Under-16 level." ------------------ goal.com
