According to reports in the Italian press, former Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli has crashed his car at a set of traffic lights in Brescia, Italy.
Mario Balotelli was driving his Audi R8 when he rear-ended the car in front of him during a period of heavy traffic, nobody was harmed in the incident, reports Italian newspaper AS.
The crash caused a commotion in Brescia, but Mario Balotelli and the driver of the other car parted ways without dispute, after agreeing that no damage had been done.
Witnesses have reported that Balotelli chose not to visit the Brescia Civic Hospital and instead drove his car home.
It comes just days after AC Milan hired a former police officer to look after the Italian striker and to keep him out of trouble.
Jose Mourinho responded to this hiring of Filippo Ferri by branding Balotelli a 'lunatic' and claiming that his new minder will 'never get bored'. Ferri was employed after the Italian striker lashed out at a cameraman in Italy, he later issued an apology.
It's not the first time Mario Balotelli has crashed his car, he was also involved in a crash with a Corsa whilst driving one of his Bentleys, as shown in the gallery below:
