The Spaniard had a hand in all three goals as the Blaugrana moved four points clear of Atletico Madrid at the top of La Liga with a win at Balaidos
The Spain international played a role in all three goals at the Balaidos. Alexis Sanchez followed up a Fabregas shot to open the scoring, while it was the former Arsenal captain's curler that found the back of the net via Celta goalkeeper Yoel.
Fabregas then completed the scoring to put the outcome beyond all doubt and Martino was in no doubt as to who the man of the match had been.
"I think the game was more comfortable in the second half because Cesc made the difference," the Blaugrana boss told reporters after the game.
"We were never very comfortable after Alexis' goal, but we played with great tranquillity after the second."
Adriano was forced off 31 minutes into the game but Martino is confident that the versatile defender will not be out of action for too long.
"I took him off as a precaution," the Argentine explained. "He had a sore back. I'll have to wait to see how he is."
Barca, who are now four points clear at the top of La Liga, are in action again on Friday, when they take on Catalan rivals Espanyol at Camp Nou. ----------------- goal.com
