The transfer window officially opens on Monday, July 1 and we're
expecting a busy summer of comings and goings at all the top clubs.
Three
of the biggest sides have new managers with David Moyes in at
Manchester United, Manuel Pellegrini replacing Roberto Mancini across
town at Manchester City and Jose Mourinho back in the Chelsea hotseat
for a second spell in charge at the Bridge.
All three will be splashing the cash this summer as they prepare for title tilts.
Meanwhile famed penny-pincher Arsene Wenger is thought to be sitting on a Euro Millions win-sized war chest at Arsenal and is finally set to spend some of it, with a top class striker and goalkeeper top of his wish list.
There
won't be one top flight side which doesn't do business this summer so
we asked Darren Lewis, Mr Football Spy himself, for his tips of which
big deals he's expecting to go through before the window slams shut (and
it always slams) in a couple of months.
Which ones has Dazza missed? Let us know which deals you reckon will be happening in the comments below.

Top ten transfer deals we expect to go through this summer

10) Marouane Fellaini - Everton to Arsenal, Chelsea or Man United The midfielder
has that £22million clause in his contract and Arsenal are ready to
trigger it. With Chelsea and Manchester United also tracking him it is
easy to see why the Toffees will struggle to keep him. The move to
Arsenal should be the one. 9) Aleksandar Kolarov - Man City to Juventus
The Serie A side have already signed Carlos Tevez from City and are keen on left-back Kolarov as well. The deal is odds-on to happen this summer. 8) Edinson Cavani - Napoli to Chelsea
The
Napoli president Aurelio De Laurantiis has said he won't go unless his
massive release clause is triggered. Rafa Benitez has backed him up.
But Napoli are resigned to him leaving and the word coming out of Italy is that Chelsea are prepared to hand the striker a five year deal. Should get done. 7) Darren Bent - Aston Villa to Newcastle
Villa
boss Paul Lambert wants him off the wage bill and he will have to take a
wage CUT for it to happen. But Newcastle needs a goalscorer and Joe
'kinnell likes him.
They still haven't made a formal approach for the former Sunderland man, but that Villa will be more than willing to do business when they do come-a-calling. 6) Demba Ba - Chelsea to West Brom
If
he hasn't already read the tea-leaves from the arrival of Andre
Schurrle he will do when Cavani gets to Stamford Bridge. When he does he
will realise he needs clubs in order to move to play regularly next
season. The former Newcastle striker is still good enough to play for a top eight team, and has been linked with West Brom. 5) Patrice Evra - Man United to Monaco The bidding has already started for Everton's Leighton Baines
and Evra will not hang about once the two clubs agree a fee. Monaco
lead the chasing back with wages on offer so good Evra's bank manager
will be willing to drive him there. 4) Julio Cesar - QPR to Arsenal
To be fair Rangers boss Harry Redknapp has already confirmed the Brazilian stopper
will leave. Its his destination which will be interesting. Roma have
been open about his interest but Arsenal are having a sniff.
Cesar has been impressive at the Confederations Cup. Will he move across London when he returns? 3) Arouna Kone - Wigan to Everton
Did
well overall for Roberto Martinez at the DW and is set to be rescued
from the championship with a move to Everton. There are whispers that
Liverpool and a couple of other clubs are keen. But Everton and a
reunion with his old boss looks to be on for the Ivory Coast international. 2) David Villa - Barcelona to Tottenham
Paulinho is not in this list because that deal is done and he will go to Spurs. The north Londoners also want Villa but the Barcelona striker
has yet to give them the nod. He is expected to, despite the fact that
it will mean he plays Europa League football next season. 1) Wayne Rooney - Man United to Arsenal, Chelsea or PSG
Will
he? Won't he? We think he will. Leave that is, with Arsenal, Chelsea,
Paris Saint-Germain and most decent clubs with a few bob waiting to take
the England star with open arms.
