'Spain are not invincible' - Del Bosque

The Roja boss has accepted that Brazil were the better team during their 3-0 Confederations Cup final defeat and feels the Selecao could win the World Cup
Spain boss Vicente del Bosque says that his team are "not invincible", following their 0-3 defeat to Brazil in Sunday's Confederations Cup final.

A Fred double and a goal by Neymar consigned the world and European champions to defeat, and the veteran coach was impressed by the Selecao's strong display in the tournament showpiece.

"We are not invincible, and the match [against Brazil] proved it," the 62-year-old is quoted as saying by L'Equipe.

"I congratulate the Brazilians, they were better than us.

"Everything turned out well for them, we conceded goals at crucial moments in the beginning and end of the first half and early in the second half, but we must recognise that Brazil have been very good.

"We knew how hard it was to win, you can not always win, and from time to time, it is important to lose."

Del Bosque is convinced the South Americans have a good chance of winning the World Cup in their own country next year.

"Brazil are undoubtedly one of the favorites, because they will be the hosts and they also have a very good team. They grew as a team during their five [Confederation Cup] games, and deservedly won the cup." -------------------------- goal.com
