And Neymar was thrilled to leave Glasgow with a win after facing a battling Hoops side at Parkhead.
"It was a great game, a very difficult and tough game physically," the forward told the official Uefa website.
"I'm very happy with the result. It's especially important to play in this tournament because, for me, it is the best one and this victory was very important for us."
The Brazil international has stressed that Barca will look to qualify from their group as soon as possible, and hailed the work of Gerardo Martino in his short time at the helm at Camp Nou.
"Nothing is easy but we'll try and get good results in our remaining games to make it as easy as possible to qualify for the next round," he added.
"Tata [Martino] is a great coach. We have not been working together for long but he is a great coach and a great person."
