The Fenerbahce forward says his country’s priority is to do well in Brazil next year after securing qualification last weekendNigeria striker Emmanuel Emenike has said his priority is to do well at next year’s World Cup in Brazil after helping his country to secure a ticket to the tournament.
The Super Eagles defeated Ethiopia 4-1 on aggregate with the Fenerbahce man scoring a brace in the first leg victory in Addis Ababa.
"I am very happy going to Brazil. Our first objective is to qualify out of the group,” Emenike told Fenerbahce TV.
Emenike emerged joint top scorer during the Super Eagles’ run to their third Africa Cup of Nations victory in February.
“Then we want to play in the semi final and then win the World Cup,” he said.
Nigeria await their group opponents in a December 6 draw to be conducted by Fifa. ------------------ goal.com
