In Nigeria today, many are of the opinion
that CORRUPTION (especially in the Nigerian Football Federation) is responsible
for putting the nation’s football in doldrums till date.
While I wholly agree with this assertion (after
all there is still no news on the money that grew legs and walked out of the
NFF office; we still don’t know the “taker” neither do we know the “takee” and
this is just one out of a myriad of other unsolved cases), I also believe that
all the stakeholders are at fault – the administrator, the Coaches, THE PLAYERS and even the fans.
I will explain my position but my
