Hey guys,
Hope u r still partying? I xpect that even the burkina babes should party hard as i am sure they never xpected 2 beat d super eagles so i want 2 use this opportunity 2 congratulate them for their exploits.
Earlier i said i had some low points that i think i shud share with u & it has 2 do with the role of our govt officials in this football matter.
I was first thrown off when i heard that 6 state governors were on their way 2 south africa and u begin 2 wonder what they r going there 2 do? should football be their priority at this time when in their states there r no good roads, no electricity, no potable water, no security etc?
These governors are always quick to vote the capital punishment for kidnappers as if they are any better.
What angered me the most was a certain David who went there and was gladly shaking hands and hugging young boys that r working hard for their money when he himself (as far as i am concerned) never does any work for all the money he grabs from our treasury either directly or indirectly.
Of course u don't xpect me 2 believe that a supposed leader of the masses is working when he wud dare 2 publicly say that GSM phones r not meant for the poor!
He later went on 2 say that Abuja is not for the poor but for the rich of the society - what kind of leaders do we have sef?
Their only concern is how to line their pockets with our common patrimony to steal and 2 amass enough money to last their generations yet unborn.
God will judge all of them from the beginning 2 d end.
Anyway, i refuse 2 let them kill my joy; its our time and celebrate we must...
