Its hard to imagine that anybody in his right mind wud even consider Omeruo for the under 20 national team. If we are interested at all in developing the football in this country then issues like this should not come up why? because as i see it, an opportunity should be given to another player to showcase his talent.
This is the time to put down this win at all cost syndrome that has completely crippled our football and look only to development.
In 1994, we were ranked the 5th best footballing nation in the world and i strongly believe that we still have the potential to even exceed that level only if we do things the right way.
Another headline i saw on This Day that caught my attention is -

My question is; Must we always have controversies like this whenever a competition is coming up? Or is the NFF trying to tell us that there are no funds to prosecute the forthcoming tournament.I think the pple running our football need 2 put their selfish interest aside and do what they r supposed to do.
A labourer is worthy of his wages so pls PAY HIM OOO.
