Naija show of shame!

Nigeria my beloved country really needs a lot of prayers.
Two days ago i witnessed a show of shame on TV when the House of Representative hosted the Super Eagles.
To say i was disappointed wud be a huge understatement.

How can a house that should be deliberating on how the citizens of this great nation should have constant electricity, good roads, an effective security system e.t.c be wasting tax payers money to host a team that had already been hosted by the President.

Are they telling us that the presidential party and cash splash was not adequate?
We have thieves who call themselves politicians roaming the streets of Nigeria very freely, even though they are supposed to have been convicted and severely dealt with.
Instead of them to be deliberating on how to put these political thieves in prison 4 life or better still, sentence them to death, they are busy wasting our money.

Someone said the reason they are not doing anything about the corruption that has brought this nation to its knees is because most of them are also political thieves pretending to represent the interest of their constituency. i cudn't agree more and the consolation i have is that none of them can take this wealth they are presently stealing to hell (where i am sure they wud end up unless they repent of their evil ways).

Anyway, i'll continue to watch them display their foolishness and probably start praying that the spirit of foolishness should leave them oooo...
