Sevilla skipper Ivan Rakitic has admitted that he is feeling increasingly uncertain whether his future remains in La Liga, as Premier League clubs scramble for his signature.
The Croatian schemer has been in outstanding form for Unai Emery's side this season, and his good form has seen him heavily-linked with a January transfer.
Manchester United have been touted as one destination - possibly in a double deal alongside Alberto Moreno - as they look to plug their midfield void.
Yet both Liverpool and Chelsea are also understood to hold more than a tentative interest in the talented technician.
And with his contract up in 2015, January represents the last opportunity for Sevilla to get top dollar for the 25-year-old - despite their interest in tying him to a new deal.
However, the club have spent the last 12 to 18 months tightening their belts and sold off four key assets during the summer - Jesus Navas and Alvaro Negredo joined Manchester City, Gary Medel moved to Cardiff City and French youngster Geoffrey Kondogbia left for Monaco.
And it is that exodus of talent which has played its part in Rakitic's frustration at his current club.
"A football player can never say with certainty that he will remain in his club," he told Slovenian website Nogomania.
"Such is the nature of our business. I'm in Seville for three years now and in this time many things have changed.
"It is clear that in such a big club people can not be satisfied with average results.
"If there is no success, if there are no trophies, frustration grows. Everything has changed."
Nevertheless, Rakitic, who has seven goals to his name this term, has said that he will continue giving everything to his current employers.
"I can assure you that I'm one hundred percent focused on Sevilla and I only think about our next match."
