Edgar Davids has no sympathy for Fulham boss Martin Jol and other under-fire bosses if they aren't winning

The Dutchman's comments come with former boss Jol feeling the pressure at Fulham following poor run of results

Edgar Davids has claimed that the pressure of being sacked comes with the territory of being a football manager.
The 40-year-old, now player-manager at Skrill Premier club Barnet, has admitted he doesn't have remorse for any coach, with Fulham boss Martin Jol among a number of manager's thought to be under-pressure.
However, Davids, who worked with Jol at Tottenham, insists coaches can have no complaints and if they aren't getting results, they deserve to be shown the exit.
He said: "I don't feel sorry for any coach. Most put a lot of work and effort into it.
"Sometimes it works out, sometimes it doesn't, sometimes you need more time and sometimes you just have to go, your time is up.
"When you take a coaching job you know what comes with the territory."
Jol is believed to be facing the axe should he not turn Fulham's fortunes around, after a dismal start to the season saw them slip to 18th in the Premier League table and he will now be looking over his shoulder after the Cottagers today appointed ex-Manchester United assistant Rene Meulensteen as their head coach.
Saturday's 4-0 drubbing at the hands of Liverpool compounded the London side's woes, and took their goals against tally to 11 in their last three games.
But Davids insists the Fulham board must put the Anfield result into perspective, such is the current gulfing class between the Premier League elite and the rest of the clubs.
The Dutchman added: "If you are playing against Liverpool, a top side, then you have to be realistic if you are Fulham, no disrespect.
"Everybody knows the top five in the Premier League, there is just too much quality."
