Luiz Felipe Scolari's men are growing in confidence as they prepare for the World Cup and they showed off their ominous team spirit at the Sun Life stadium in Florida
Brazil continued their Global Tour with a 5-0 thrashing of Honduras in Miami on Saturday night.

It was an opportunity for United States football fans to get their chance to see next summer's World Cup hosts in the flesh, and the record crowd in Florida were not disappointed.

Chelsea star Willian bagged his first goal for his country as he tries to nail down a place in Luiz Felipe Scolari's squad, while Shakhtar Donetsk attacker Bernard opened the scoring.

But it was really a night for the Selecao to show off their burgeoning understanding and togetherness, with a number of well-worked goals all joyfully celebrated with team-mates and subtitutes alike.

Paulinho played in Bernard to open the scoring at the far post, but it was not until the second half that Brazil pulled away.

Bayern Munich defender Dante sent in a deflected header 10 minutes after the break, before Maicon tapped in from close range to make it 3-0. Both goals were keenly celebrated, with every player racing to the bench to embrace the substitutes.

Willian notched his first goal for the Selecao and later posted on his Instagram that he hopes it is the first of many, but Hulk showed that he would not give up his place easily after finishing off a neat move, complete with two back-heels.

Neymar is never normally far away from the action but the Barcelona attacker did not get on the scoresheet on Saturday.

Brazil's star man received the type of close attention from defendrs that he has grown accustomed to in recent years, but did play well overall and put in the free kick for Dante to head home.

Scolari was certainly confident after the match, declaring to assembled reporters: "There is no pressure on Brazil to be world champions. Brazil will be champions," before swiftly leaving.

The Selecao travel to Toronto on Tuesday to face Chile, who warmed up for their World Cup campaign with an impressive 2-0 victory against England. ------------------ goal.com
