Oops! Official Chelsea mobile app shows the wrong score after Blues lose to Basel in Champions League
Club app lists reverses score to hand the Blues a 2-1 win in their opening European game of the campaign
Chelsea's UEFA Champions League campaign began in disappointing
fashion on Wednesday, the Blues slipping to a 2-1 defeat against FC
Basel.
Jose Mourinho's side looked to be on the front foot when Oscar stroked them ahead on the stroke of half-time, only for Mohamed Salah and Marco Streller to stun the home crowd with late goals/
And the excitement of the second half obviously went to the administrators of Chelsea's official mobile app.
The link to their post-match highlights package lists the score not as Chelsea 1-2 Basel, but as Chelsea 2-1 Basel.
An honest mistake, we're sure, but perhaps born of wishful thinking after such a frustrating evening.
