French club threaten Roma’s bid to land Arsenal star Roma have made a formal £6.9million offer for Arsenal striker Gervinho.Lyon are also considering an offer for the 26-year-old - who is not on the club’s pre-season tour of Asia - and could include their French international midfielder Yoan Gourcuff going the other way.
Gourcuff, 27, is keen to leave, and Arsenal want a midfielder.
Meanwhile, Chelsea are showing interest in long-term Arsenal target Gilbert Imbula, 20, of Guingamp, as are Paris Saint-Germain and Roma.
