Oboabona Arrives Eagles Camp, Boosts Preparation For CIV Clash

Super Eagles defender Godfrey Oboabona has joined his teammates in training sessions as preparation for the CHAN qualifier intensifies, the national team's media secretary Ben Alaiya has revealed.
Alaiya said all 24 players pencilled down for the July 27 final leg against Cote d’Ivoire are now in camp.
The Sunshine defender who sustained an injury on his hand, after he was mobbed by the club’s fans as he trained with the Akure side in Owo last weekend.
The 22-year-old, who returned to the club after a break announced by national team officials, was training on the Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, when excited fans rushed to him to request for autographs and photos.
The team is training at the Goal Project because the Ivorians had already informed CAF that the return leg will be played on an artificial turf. --------------------------- complete sports
