Wayne Rooney says his
Manchester United side have finally clicked under David Moyes and are
ready to prove their class when they face Arsenal this weekend. Defending Premier League champions United
are unbeaten in eight games in all competitions heading into Sunday's
Old Trafford showdown with the Gunners, who currently top the table.
United suffered their worst start to a league
campaign in 24 years as Everton manager Moyes succeeded the retiring
Sir Alex Ferguson after a quarter-century as Old Trafford boss.
But England striker Rooney
said United's improved recent run proved the players are now used to
playing under Moyes and have bought into their manager's way of
thinking.
"We had a whole new set-up and different ideas from the
manager," said Rooney. "It's up to us to try and implement those ideas
as best we can. It was a bit of a change but we're starting to show the
things that the manager wants.
"Eight matches unbeaten is a good
run. We're confident at the minute, we're getting more clean sheets and
we're playing with a freedom, if you like.
"We're just looking forward to every game now." My way: Moyes had teething problems with stars used to life under Fergie

Meanwhile, former United defender Gary Pallister believes
Sunday's encounter will tell us just where Moyes' side stand after a
difficult start to a season of transition.
"I guess it's been middle of the road," said Pallister on the Old Trafford side's season so far. "You can't get away from that.
"There have been a few disappointments but some good performances in there as well.
"Hopefully
we're starting to hit our straps a little bit as the last few games
have been good and you've seen a decisive United side.
"But it's
going to be a big test come Sunday. This Arsenal team have started the
season fantastically well and are playing great football with style and
panache.
"They've still got their detractors out there who think
they're not good enough to win the title, but I don't think Arsenal are
going to be too far away.
"I think they're a fantastic side, so it
will be one hell of a titanic battle on Sunday. It will tell Manchester
United a lot more about where they are this season."
