The proud parents of Gareth Bale are sharing in the success of their son’s megabucks deal – after it turned them into millionaires overnight.
As co-directors of his company Primesure Limited, Frank and Deborah Bale pocketed a lump sum of £2million when the Welsh wizard completed his £86million move to Real Madrid.
The couple had previously been given a 20% stake in the firm by Gareth.
The 24-year-old midfielder owns the remaining 60%, ensuring he also profited handsomely from become the most expensive footballer in the world.
Just as Gareth’s agent reportedly received a £5million lump sum upon contract completion, Debbie and Frank are understood to have also been included in the terms, earning an estimated £1million each.

A source said: “Gareth will never forget where he came from – he is loyal family boy. His family are his priority and since turning professional, has always ensured they are provided for.
“Gareth is incredibly grateful for all the sacrifices his parents made for him as a youngster, and wanted to thank them as best he could.
“Debbie was especially anxious about his move to Spain so it was imperative that she and Frank were looked after as part of the deal.
"They are now financially secure for life which is a huge relief for Gareth.”
In July, his parents attended a meeting with Spurs chairman Daniel Levy, alongside their son and his representatives.
It is likely financial terms of the deal were finalised there.
Debbie, who works for a solicitor’s firm, and retired school caretaker Frank still live in their three-bed semi in Whitchurch, Cardiff, near Gareth’s school and sweetheart Emma Rhys-Jones, 23, who is mother of his 11-month-old baby daughter, Alba Violet.

Bale, who now earns £300,000-a-week, was paraded around his new home stadium, the Bernabeu, on Monday having signed the record-breaking six-year deal.
Donning his new number 11 shirt, the star – who trained with his international teammates yesterday – spoke to the Real fans in Spanish.
He said: “Hello, it’s a dream for me to play for Real Madrid. Thank you for the great welcome. Go Madrid!”
When Gareth was a youngster, his parents made sure they attended every game, often travelling huge distances to support him.
Julia Upson was the landlady of Darwin Lodge where Gareth shared a room with fellow rising star Theo Walcott when they played for Southampton as teenagers.
She said: “He has a lot to thank them for. They taught him good values and were not pushy. They just wanted the best for their son.”
