Chelsea manager,Jose Mourinho has quelled speculations surrounding the future of Super Eagles midfielder,Mikel Obi,insisting neither the Nigerian nor any Chelsea player will be sold this summer.

And to make good his claim,Complete Sports gathered from sources close to the player that Chelsea have turned down approaches made by three top European clubs for the Nigerian.
'PSG,Monaco and Galatasaray tabled bids for Mikel but Chelsea told them he is not for sale'',revealed one of the sources who should know the goings on around Mikel.

Yesterday in Indonesia,Mourinho confirmed that Chelsea will not entertain any bids for any of its players including Mikel and Victor Moses. 'We don't have players to sell and none of my players are leaving under any circumstance'',said Mourinho.

Early this month,one of the clubs bidding for Mikel,Galatasaray,through its president,Ünal Aysal openly admitted they are in talks with Chelsea over Mikel.

"We are interested in Mikel, negotiations are ongoing," Aysal told Turkish newspaper Sabah.
There were also reports suggesting that a deal is already in place however, Chelsea however denied an agreement have been reached.

Mikel has made 277 appearances for Chelsea during which time he has won the Premier League title, four FA Cups and lifted the Champions League as well as the Europa League trophy. --------------- complete sports
