Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers rules out a loan move for Napoli target Pepe Reina
Spanish shot-stopper has fallen down the Anfield pecking order after the arrival of Simon Mignolet from Sunderland
Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers
has ruled out a loan move for Pepe Reina - claiming it's permanent or nothing.
The Spanish shot-stopper is heading for the Anfield exit door after the signing of Simon Mignolet from Sunderland - with Napoli looking his most likely destination.
But The Kop boss had ruled out a loan move - and yesterday claimed Reina needs to be sold to get him off the wage bill.
"Nothing as of yet," Rodgers said when asked of the latest on Reina, reports the Metro.
"The latest was that there was an offer to take him on loan but that’s something that hasn’t been discussed any further."
