Having suffered the ignominy of a 4-1 defeat at
home last season, BVB's coach is looking for a response from his team
and believes Robert Lewandowski will make the game
Former HSV star Heung-Min Son and Artjoms Rudnevs both scored twice to complete a famous 4-1 rout over BVB last season.
And, as Klopp reflects on the memorable encounter, he hopes his players can leave the match behind as a "bad day at the office" and set things straight this time.
"This game was something special, nobody’s going to forget it in a hurry," he told a press conference.
"We tried everything and ultimately got nothing from the game – we have to accept that. Days like these are part and parcel of the game.
"We could do without them but, as a footballer, you have to accept that you’ll experience bad days at the office like these."
The coach is confident Robert Lewandowski, who picked up a knock while on international duty, will recover in time to make an appearance, Klopp added: "He will participate in the regular training session tomorrow."
However, Jakub Blaszczykowski is unlikely to play against Hamburg, as he is still suffering from a torn muscle.
"It is getting better, but it's still not looking good for him," Klopp said. ------------------- goal.com
