UJAH: MEXICO FRIENDLY IS A GOOD TEST FOR EAGLES

Newly invited Super Eagles striker Anthony Ujah believes the May 31 international friendly between Mexico and Nigeria will be a huge test for the Eagles ahead of next month's crucial 2014 World Cup qualifiers against Kenya and Namibia as well as the FIFA Confederations Cup in Brazil.

Ujah who joined the camp of the Super Eagles on Monday tells says he looks forward to playing a part in all the games involving the national team in June, beginning from the clash against the 'Tricolor'.

"I'm happy to be part of the team at last. I want to thank everybody who made it possible for me to actualize this dream of getting invited. Now I hope to play in the matches coming up.

"We'll be starting with the friendly against Mexico next week. They have a strong national team with players who do well locally and in Europe.

"I think it will be a good test for us before the World Cup qualifiers and FIFA Confederations Cup. I met a
Super Eagles team with respect for each other and confident of their chances in the qualifiers and Confederation Cup. I'm happy to be among this group of players. Thank you for the support and prayers," Ujah concludes. --------------------- Complete Sports
