MEXICO FRIENDLY: KESHI DROPS MUSA, OGUDE

Super Eagles Head Coach Stephen Keshi has dropped CSKA Moscow winger
Ahmed Musa from his 25-man squad for the AFCON Champions upcoming
international match against the Mexican National Team on Friday, May 31 at Reliant Stadium in Houston.
As earlier reported by Completesportsnigeria.com the former VVV Venlo
winger would be playing for his club in the Russian Cup final which
comes up the next day.
Also dropped from the squad are Valerenga's Fengor Ogude, and the trio of Emeka Ezeh,Daniel Akpeyi,Gomo Onduku.
The former Togo and Mali boss called up two players based in the German
Bundesliga, two from Serie A in Italy, two from the Scottish Premier
League and two from the Portuguese Liga.
Mexico and Nigeria have met three times with their last meeting at the
at the Estadio Olimpico Benito Juarez in Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua ending
in a 2-2 draw.
Dropped Eagles triker Obafemi scored both goals for the then Berti Vogts led side.
Mexico is expected to release its roster in the coming days with the
trio of Javier 'Chicharito' Hernandez, Carlos Vela and Giovani Dos
Santos to be listed.
