By Johnny Edward:
Kenya's Celtic midfielder Victor Wanyama has admitted that it would be
difficult for him and his Harambee Stars teammate to cope playing three
games in the first week of June as there won't be adequate rest for the
team.
The Harambee Stars are may likely face Ghana in an international friendly on the 1st of June, then host the Super Eagles four days later before going to Malawi and the
Celtic star who was voted the Clydesdale Bank SPL Young Player of the Year believes it won't be easy.
Adel Amrouche's side are bottom of group F with two points but a win
over table-topping Nigeria would put them right back in the mix for
qualification.
“We have games in the summer so that will be difficult. We have a friendly match on June 1, then Nigeria on June 5 before going to Malawi."
“We have four international games in the summer so that will be quite difficult with no rest." ------------------------------- Complete Sports
