Real up Bale Offer to £60m

Real up Bale Offer to £60m

Real Madrid are ready to test Tottenham’s resolve with a £60million bid for Gareth Bale.

The Spanish giants have been tracking Bale for over a year and new coach Carlo Ancelotti is a big fan of the winger.

Real are desperate for silverware next season having not won a major trophy this year and the Sunday Telegraph report that the club’s president Florentino Perez has promised Ancelotti that a bid will be made for Bale.

Ancelotti is set to replace Chelsea-bound Jose Mourinho at Madrid after the Italian reiterated his desire to leave Paris Saint-Germain.

Spurs are determined to keep hold of Bale and are confident of doing so despite not qualifying for next year’s Champions League.

Bale will hold talks with the club before the summer transfer window opens to discuss his future.
Both Bale and Spurs are keen to avoid the tense stand-off that marred relations between Luka Modric and the club two summers ago. -------------------------- Complete Sports
