Super Eagles striker Kalu Uche has revealed that Turkish sides Fenerbahce and Besiktas are interested in signing him in the summer but remains in the dark when either side will officially table an offer for him, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
Uche who emerged Kasimpasa's top scorer in his debut season with 19 goals also admits it hasn't been easy scoring in Turkey.
"In the Turkish Super League, it's not easy, even to score one goal. Each goal I score means a lot to me," Uche begins.
"It's not easy to be a star by scoring goals here because they have very good defensive players.
"With my scoring form, I've had so many interests from top clubs, but I only know of Fenerbahce and Besiktas here in Turkey.
"But I don't know what their plans are, and since they haven't tabled an offer, it would be unfair for me to comment much on such interests.
"At the moment, I'm a Kasimpasa player and I'm enjoying my job here which is to score goals and be helpful to my team."
The former Wisla Krakow and Bordeaux player would rate Austin Jay Jay Okocha as the best player in the history of Nigerian football.
"All my life, I do not think of anything other than football. I'm a normal person from my childhood. The only thing I can do is play football and that got me the nickname Jay Jay Okocha who for me is one of the best players in the history of Nigeria," the former Almeria and Neuchatel Xamax star reveals. --------------- Complete Sports
