The Milan president has seemingly confirmed that the coach will leave San Siro for the Stadio Olimpico at the season's end, although the comments may have been made in jest
AC Milan president Silvio Berlusconi has claimed that coach Massimiliano Allegri will join Roma in the summer, although mainstream media in Italy are split on whether the controversial 76-year-old was telling the truth.

Allegri has long been linked with a move away from the club at the season's end after a disappointing start to the campaign, and the former Prime Minister of Italy has seemingly confirmed that the former Cagliari boss will indeed leave San Siro for the capital at the end of 2012-13.

"He will join Roma," he told reporters.

"The announcement will be done after the match against Siena [on Sunday]."

The Giallorossi first targeted Allegri when they feared being priced out of a move for Robert Mancini back in March.

However, the Rossoneri have since released a statement refuting any links between the Italian boss and the capital club. ---------------------------- goal.com
